Our planned visit to Jews on the countryside, small city Barich. This Friday early on the morning we started our trip with Tatjana from the"Shabotinski Project" and Victoria, representative for Israeli Government in Ulyanovsk. We visited 7 families. Brought some help for them and Jewish New Year presents.

Most of the Jews here were evacuated from Belarus and Ukraine during the II World War. Their stories are as follows: 45 years of work in the local sewing factory, not married, because of the continuous repressions from the locals. Most of them live in really poor conditions. Today almost all the factories are closed and youth has nothing to do here. Tatjana and Victoria inform them about their possibilities to return to Israel. It is not their first visit here. Tatjana is not Jew, she is Christian, ministering to them. Victoria is Jewish, but not Christian.

We hade really interesting conversations in car alone, Victoria tells that after her first visit to Barich she was in depression for half a year. She is also local Jew, living in Ulyanovsk. Tatjana is full of faith and me too. It impacts Victoria also and we continue with renewed hope that these people will return to Israel. And we with Tatjana pray that they will also know personally Messiah, including Victoria.
Meie varemalt plaanitud külaskäik juutide juurde maale, väikelinna Barõch. Reede hommikul vara startisime Tatjanaga “Shabotinski Projektist” ja Victoriaga, Iisraeli riigi esindajaga Uljanovskis. Külastasime seitset perekonda. Tõime abipakke ja kingitused juudi uue aasta puhul. Enamik siinseid juute evakueeriti siia Valgevenest ja Ukrainast Teise Maailmasõja ajal. Nende lood on järgnevalt: 45 aastat tööd kohalikus õmblusvabrikus, tagakiusu tõttu kohalike poolt jäänud vallaliseks.
See pole nende esimene külaskäik siia. Tatjana pole juut vaid kristlane kes neid teenib. Victoria on juut kuid mitte kristlane.
